About

My Story

When I was younger, I traveled all over the U.S. and Canada, but no place captivated me like Western North Carolina. The biodiversity, lush landscapes, and sheer beauty of this region drew me in—it felt like home. The plants, the land, and the rhythm of nature here truly healed me.

In 2011, I put down roots in this incredible place after years of traveling and working as a migrant farmer, bicycle mechanic, nanny, and seamstress. I started working in landscaping shortly after moving here, and, I instantly fell in love. I became obsessed with plants and the art of creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. My hunger for knowledge and hands-on experience pushed me to learn quickly, and after managing an organic landscaping team for several years, I took the leap into entrepreneurship.

Since 2018, I’ve been running my own landscaping business, constantly refining my skills and deepening my expertise. What I love most about this field is that there’s always more to learn—the combination of nature and design is endlessly inspiring. I’m passionate about bringing that knowledge to every project, helping others connect with the beauty and balance of the natural world.
I regularly take courses through local organizations to keep my skills sharp and stay up to date with the latest in landscaping. When I’m not working, you’ll find me obsessively researching plants and garden design—I’m always eager to learn and grow in my craft!

My Approach

My approach to landscape design strikes a balance between wild and refined. I’m drawn to the beauty of native plants and the way nature thrives on its own, but I also appreciate the artistry of thoughtful design. My goal is to blend these elements so your landscape feels intentional yet naturally effortless.

I incorporate a variety of native plants while thoughtfully using select exotics in moderation. If a fully native design is what you’re after, I’m happy to create that as well. I rely on organic methods for weed control, pest and disease management, fertilizing, and mulching—always striving to keep plastics out of the garden and use natural, sustainable materials whenever possible.

If you love Western North Carolina and want a landscape that works with the region’s natural beauty rather than against it, we’ll be a great fit!
